Gallery - British and French Graves at the Thiepval Memorial

These 300 British and 300 French graves at the Thiepval Memorial are a symbol of the joint sacrifice made by the Allies during the Great War. They are on the position of the old German front line, at the place where defending troops stood on their parapet and taunted the British soldiers pinned down in No Man's Land on 1st July.
